Senior Vice President of Media Operations

to oversee and optimize all aspects of media planning, strategy, and execution to drive successful advertising campaigns. Your strategic vision and leadership will be critical in shaping media strategies, enhancing efficiency, and maximizing return on investment for our advertising efforts. You will lead a team of media professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage relationships with external partners to achieve the company's advertising objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF MEDIA OPERATIONS

Media Strategy and Planning: Provide strategic oversight for the development and implementation of comprehensive media strategies that align with advertising objectives and effectively reach the target audience. Guide the team in utilizing market research, customer insights, and industry trends to create and refine optimized media plans. Media Buying and Negotiation:

Lead high-level media buying operations and oversee strategic negotiations with publishers, media vendors, and technology platforms. Ensure cost efficiency and secure optimal advertising placement rates to maximize the organization's value. Campaign Management:

Guide and supervise the end-to-end campaign management lifecycle, from initial setup to performance optimization. Use data-driven insights to evaluate campaign outcomes and collaborate with the team to refine strategies for optimal results. Budget Management:

Collaborate with finance and department leaders to set and manage the department's budget. Drive strategic allocation of resources to ensure maximum impact and maintain profitability by continuously assessing client scope and financial performance. Data and Analytics:

Champion the use of data and analytics to measure and evaluate advertising effectiveness. Conduct high-level analysis of performance metrics, oversee regular auditing processes, and deliver actionable insights and reports to key stakeholders. Team Leadership and Development:

Inspire, mentor, and empower a team of media professionals. Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment that emphasizes professional growth and continuous improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Facilitate effective collaboration across departments, working with client relations, creative, activations, and technology teams to ensure alignment between media operations and broader client objectives and brand strategies. Industry Trends and Innovation:

Maintain a forward-thinking approach by staying current with industry advancements, advertising technologies, and emerging media platforms. Identify and drive opportunities to integrate new and innovative strategies into media operations. Vendor and Agency Management:

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with media vendors, agencies, and technology providers. Lead evaluations of external partners and negotiate favorable terms to ensure robust support and effective execution of campaigns. Compliance and Legal:

Ensure all media activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards. Proactively address and mitigate potential risks to safeguard the organization. IDEAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (15+ years) in media operations, advertising, or related roles, with a track record of driving successful campaigns. In-depth knowledge of various media channels, platforms, and technologies. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strategic thinker with the ability to align media strategies with business goals. Familiarity with industry-standard media tools and analytics platforms. Knowledge of advertising regulations and compliance best practices

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE

We anticipate that this person will be most effective onsite at our office in the North Loop area of Minneapolis Monday-Thursday due to the work style of the existing team. The person in this role will routinely work remotely most Fridays, and we will consider an additional routine remote day during the week after initial training is complete. That being said, we do understand that some days are more productive remotely, and we offer additional remote flexibility as needed. Note that parking is paid for by Media Bridge when employees are required to work onsite.
