Marketing Programs Assistant

Duties
Assist in the creation, planning, set up and execution of multiple game promotional events, theme nights and community based programs designed to sell tickets and create a fun, entertaining atmosphere during each home game and event.
Assist in many aspects of the Marketing, Promotions, Community Outreach and Social Media aspects of the Marketing Department.
Help to sell group ticket packages to non-profits including group and fundraiser partnerships.
Assist ticket sales department in handling in-bound inquiries and directing customers in the right direction.
Help to make the game day experience as FUN as possible for all fans.
Assisting in aspects of community relations in regards to mascot/player appearances, donation fulfillment, community outreach, etc.
Serving as staff at community outreach events and efforts including but not limited to mascot appearances, festivals, parades, civic organizations, etc.
Work all Baysox home games and stadium events.
Distribute marketing materials within the community including pocket schedules, posters, flyers, etc. designed to attract fans and sell tickets to home games and events.
Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience is preferred. Candidates should have completed a 4-year degree (or be available for a full-time internship) in Sports Management, Marketing, or related field and
not be enrolled in classes
for the duration of time between February, 2025 through early October, 2025. Ability to assist with doing physical aspects of the job including pulling tarp as needed before, during and after games. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with co-workers, staff and customers. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
