Position Summary
We are looking to hire a marketing coordinator with outstanding organizational and research skills. Marketing coordinators are expected to be creative individuals with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.
To ensure success, marketing coordinators should be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences, along with the drive to gain new clients and increase revenue in tandem with the sales team. Top candidates will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.

Implement marketing plans that include print/email, broadcast and online content.

Manage River-Run.com website with accountability for updates, SEO, Client/Google Review widget, and Lead Generation processing.

Social Media management and updates (LinkedIn, Facebook, other)

Setup tracking systems and or find efficiencies/AI opportunities in current CRM for marketing campaigns and online activities.

Create branded mail/email/call campaigns and support the marketing and sales teams by creating, coordinating and collating content.

Establish River Run as thought leaders and expert in certain industries and technologies.

Focus marketing campaigns on CIO Service, Voice Services, R-MIT/+ and other initiatives as needed, including current monthly client communication.

Build pipelines with channel partners and team members to generate qualified leads.

Identify, manage, and maximize Marketing Development Funds (MDF) through channel partners.

Setup tracking systems and or find efficiencies/AI opportunities in current CRM for marketing campaigns and online activities.

Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.

Traffic all advertising, marketing, and branding efforts to appropriate channels.

Create and utilize AI tools for content including client-facing materials and assist in rollout of new services/products/tools.

Create, maintain, and strengthen the organization's overall brand through all media avenues and CRM.

Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.

Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors, including managing and ordering of all sales and marketing supplies.

Assign duties to front desk/administrative help as needed.

Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.

Answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions regarding company, service, process, etc.

Identify appropriate trade show and/or speaking opportunities in Milwaukee and surrounding areas, set up, and coordination of River Run trade show events; coordinate internal River Run members to attend.
Skills & Experience

Two years of experience in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts and media negotiations.

Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.

Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.

Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and use of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.

Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (CS), and web editing packages.
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related.
Physical Demands:
