SPAARK is seeking a Senior Producer to manage media production projects at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu. The Senior Producer will oversee all phases of media production projects, including managing project timelines, overseeing equipment, and leading a collaborative team to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, the Senior Producer will serve as the primary project management (PM) contact, ensuring effective communication between employees and SPAARK's corporate staff. This role is essential to enhancing the Center's ability to communicate effectively both internally and strengthen outreach and engagement efforts.

Plan, organize, and oversee media production projects, including live events and studio recordings, ensuring on-time completion within budget. Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained, upgraded, and ready for use and oversee setup, testing, and operation of equipment for various projects. Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals. Serve as primary point of contact for clients on production-related matters. Additionally, maintain open communication as project manager with our corporate staff. Review and approve production outputs and implement feedback and continuous improvement processes to enhance quality and efficiency. Be prepared to fill in and perform the tasks of AV Technician, Graphic Designer, Videographer/Editor, and Photographer as needed. Qualifications:

Audiovisual certification such as Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) from AVIXA or equivalent. 7+ years of experience in production support services. Associate degree in media production, communications, or related field or equivalent experience. Must possess technical skills in operating and maintaining AV equipment. Proficient in using software tools for graphic design, video editing, and podcast production, including familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and other industry software. Demonstrated skills in photography and videography (camera operation, lighting, audio recording, post-production editing).
