Ironclad is the #1 contract lifecycle management platform for innovative companies. Every company, in every country, in every industry runs on contracts, but managing these contracts slows companies down and costs them millions of dollars. It’s the only platform flexible enough to handle every type of contract workflow, whether a sales agreement, an HR agreement or a complex NDA.

We’re on a journey to redesign contracts. And, that means rethinking how people (and companies) form trust and work together. We're looking for imaginative product designers to help us challenge the status quo and redefine contracting. As a software designer at Ironclad, you’ll use technology to shape, automate and modernize the end-to-end antiquated contracting process - from drafting through negotiation to signature and beyond. You’ll work with engineers and product managers to transform and humanize the nature of a contract - from paper to data, and from inaccessible to intuitive. At Ironclad, we’re building a future where contracts aren't a 9-letter word; they are dynamic, intuitive experiences that transform how businesses cooperate in our modern world. This is an opportunity to make a dent, not only with a product, but by profoundly shifting the terms people use to work together. What you’ll do:
Act as a guide (for anyone in the company) for how to deliver an intuitive user experience in our product.
Champion our user by consistently representing their interests at every “table.”
Orchestrate design process across multiple teams and projects at the same time.
Utilize our usability lab to validate product designs with facts (not fluff).
Synthesize a shared vision (not your own vision), and then visualize it.
Collaborate all day, every day extensively with product managers and engineers.
Communicate through visual artifacts. That’s your superpower as a designer, and nobody else at the company has it.
You’ll do a lot of hands-on software/UI design for a complex and rich application. Important note: our design team is for do-ers, not just thinkers/collaborators.
Help us develop our design talent and culture. We have a flat organization where everyone co-owns and chips-in on this stuff. The more senior you are, the higher the expectations of contribution.
Always model good leadership at your core, and our company values.
You already have/are:
+10 years of experience designing apps at a tech company.
Shipped exemplary work into a large market.
A phenomenal UI designer; with evidence of lifting the UI craft of others.
Fluent with web, iOS, and Android UI design patterns.
Understands how software works, and the ability to code is a plus.
Excellent communication skills at all levels of a company.
A player-coach, with evidence of fostering growth and development in others.
A continuous learner who solicits feedback proactively.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation
Health, dental, and vision insurance
401k
Wellness reimbursement
Take what you need vacation policy
Generous parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers
Base Salary Range:
