Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Video Editor to join our client’s team. If you have experience crafting engaging social media videos for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, especially within dropshipping, direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, or UGC-driven campaigns, we want to hear from you. This role focuses on creating short-form, high-impact video content designed to capture attention and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities: Edit raw footage into captivating short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms. Add subtitles, music, and visual effects to enhance videos, ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and style. Leverage a deep understanding of current social media trends, hooks, and storytelling techniques to create scroll-stopping content. Collaborate with the team to ideate and execute video concepts that resonate with the target audience. Work with existing scripts or create engaging scripts and hooks when needed. Ensure all content is fluent in English, with zero tolerance for grammar or spelling errors. Handle multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Qualifications: Proven experience in editing videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms. Familiarity with dropshipping, DTC brands, paid ads, UGC content, and the nuances of social media marketing. Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement. Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent. Ability to add captions and select music that aligns with video objectives.
