Basic Functions:
Revlon is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Corporate Communications to lead our global communications efforts. This role is critical in shaping, conveying and enhancing Revlon’s corporate narrative and reputation, as well as in driving engagement with key stakeholders, including employees, media, and investors. This role will own all internal and external corporate communications. This individual will build and execute a communications strategy that incorporates a mix of tactics to engage the global organization and creates external “buzz” to reinforce our strategy, cultural values, and provide real-time business updates
Major Duties:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with Revlon’s business objectives.
Internal Communications: Leverage communications as a tool to support and strengthen Revlon’s culture of transparency and collaboration. Ensure consistent and engaging messaging across the organization.
Content Creation: Develop compelling content for press releases, speeches, presentations, and other communication materials. Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with Revlon’s corporate voice.
Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Proactively manage media inquiries and secure positive coverage.
Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and effective responses to protect and enhance Revlon’s reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including employees, media, investors
Internal Communications
Build annual internal communications strategy that incorporates a mix of tactics to engage the global organization across all levels and drives our culture of transparency and collaboration.
Manage in-year internal communications calendar, balancing regularly planned communications with ad-hoc needs, including:
Company-wide Town Hall meetings
Top-100 Forums
ELT Coffee Chats
Monthly Corporate newsletter
Regular and Ad-hoc “RevNews” communications
Other office-wide / company wide events
Draft and edit employee communications inclusive of newsletters, video scripts, internal updates, etc.
Liaise with HR to assist with employee related activities
Develop metrics and processes that help us measure impact of internal communications
External Communications & Corporate PR
Develop strategic Corporate PR strategy (with or without external PR firm), including:
Press positioning and messaging
Media relations strategies
Executive Leadership press, speaking engagements, etc.
LinkedIn strategy
Creative collaborations
Engagement and participation in industry related issues/events: CEW, CFTA, etc.
Own crisis communications, including relationship with Longacre Square (external crisis agency)
Actively manage company websites including internal intranet and external corporate website: Revloncorp.com
Liaison with Investor Relations on quarterly earnings communications
Develop metrics and processes that help us measure communications impact
Knowledge & Skills:
Prior experience working in a corporate communications function
Strong media relations experience and a network of industry contacts.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies and plans
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Executive presence: Ability to interact with Senior Level executives, including the C-Suite
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong planning and coordination skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven experience to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in parallel in a fast paced environment; strong follow up skills; able to move quickly with implementation and maintain focus amid change.
Can-do attitude with an ability to own a project top to bottom
Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues
Business acumen – ability to understand the Company’s objectives/strategies.
Proven track record of success. developing and executing successful communications strategies.
Experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
The Head of Corporate Communications at Revlon collaborates extensively with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective communication strategies. By working closely with these departments, the Head of Corporate Communications ensures that Revlon’s messaging is unified, strategic, and impactful across all touchpoints.
Here’s how this role typically interacts with other departments:
Executive Leadership: Regularly interacts with the executive leadership team to align communication strategies with the company’s overall vision and goals. Provides counsel on communication matters and supports executive visibility.
Human Resources: Partners with HR to develop internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement and support organizational culture. This includes communicating company values, policies, and updates to employees.
Finance & Investor Relations: Works with the investor relations team to communicate with shareholders and potential investors. This includes preparing financial reports, press releases, and presentations for earnings calls and investor meetings.
Commercial Teams:
Engages with the product development and marketing teams to understand new products, innovations and marketing campaigns. This knowledge is crucial for crafting compelling stories and press releases that highlight Revlon’s advancements.
Partners with customer service to address consumer inquiries and feedback. Ensures that communication with customers is consistent and reflects the company’s values.
IT and Digital Teams: Collaborates with IT and digital teams to leverage technology and digital platforms for effective communication. This includes managing the company’s online presence and social media strategies.
Legal: Collaborates with the legal department to manage communication around legal matters, ensuring that all public statements are compliant with regulations and protect the company’s interests.

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $200,000 - $230,000/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy. Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees are also enrolled in our company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled).
Employees will also receive 4 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
