Department: Communication Sciences & Disorders (10000837) Employee Designation: Regular Full-time (Benefits Eligible) The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the School of Applied Sciences at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a 9-month Assistant Professor, tenure-track position to start in August 2025. Faculty with expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology (e.g., child language acquisition, child language disorders, literacy, school-age language disorders, speech sound disorders, phonology, pediatric feeding and swallowing, or pediatric medical speech-language pathology) are encouraged to apply, with other areas of expertise considered as well. The successful candidate will develop and sustain a line of research that contributes to scientific advancement in an area related to your expertise, actively pursue external funding for research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses (face-to-face, online, and/or blended), advise students and direct student research, and engage in departmental, college, university, and professional service. Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree (PhD or EdD) in communication sciences and disorders or a closely related field, earned CCC-SLP, and eligibility for Mississippi state licensure. Additionally, applicants should have a record or demonstrated potential of scholarly peer-reviewed publications, external funding to support research programs, and successful teaching. A strong record of quality research and teaching is required for tenure. Application Procedures
