As the

Senior Manager of Global Media Relations , you will play a pivotal role in shaping Schneider Electric's reputation and driving impactful media coverage. Based in one of the world's major media markets, New York City or London, you will collaborate closely with Schneider Electric's executive team, business units across geographies to identify compelling stories and translate complex technical information into engaging narratives for the media.

What will you do?

Media Relationship Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive media relations strategy aligned with Schneider Electric's corporate objectives. Build and nurture relationships with top-tier journalists and editors at influential media outlets. Proactively pitch compelling stories that showcase Schneider Electric's innovations and sustainability initiatives. Respond to media inquiries promptly and effectively, providing accurate and timely information. Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives that highlight Schneider Electric's value proposition and differentiate the company from competitors. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging content, including press releases, byline articles, and other media materials. Media Training: Conduct media training sessions for executives and key spokespeople, equipping them with the skills to deliver impactful messages. Event Support: Support media programs at key industry events and company initiatives, including press conferences, media briefings, and executive interviews. Measurement and Analysis: Track and analyze media coverage to measure the impact of media relations efforts. Utilize media monitoring tools to identify opportunities and measure key performance indicators (KPIs). For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in media relations, preferably within a corporate or agency setting. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 media outlets. Experience in the energy, sustainability, or technology sectors preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
