Job Summary:
The UI/UX Designer will play a hybrid role focused on 70% UI Development and 30% UX Design. This position involves creating intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces, while also incorporating strong design principles and user feedback into the process. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in front-end development, a deep understanding of design systems, and a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user interfaces that meet business and user needs.
• Conduct UX research and usability testing, and incorporate feedback to improve designs.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma.
• Optimize applications for speed, usability, and mobile-first, responsive design principles.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and seamless performance across devices.
• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to version control systems like Git.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and creating mockups using Figma or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout.
• Expertise in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design, as well as cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience conducting UX research and usability testing.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining design systems.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience in optimizing web applications for performance and usability.
