Job Summary

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team members in executing The Levy Difference in regards to operations, human resources, and financials. From hiring, training, and developing team members to ensuring that all costs are met and quality show standards are maintained at all times, you will be representing Levy and communicating our philosophies and culture to all that you come in contact with.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Holds team accountable to steps of service to deliver great guest service
2. Ensures that team members consistently deliver heartfelt hospitality to every guest, every time
3. Ensures team members have the tools necessary to complete their jobs
4. Ensures show quality standards are maintained at all times
5. Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Levy team members
6. Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
7. Supports and communicates Levy initiatives
8. Respond and assist in any departmental guest service issues
9. Ensures execution of all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Operations in accordance with Levy standards
10. Acts as a liaison with the team, including partner's operational team, Levy team, and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performance
11. Ensures proper execution of preventive maintenance schedule as set forth by Director of Operations
12. Ensures that daily walkthroughs are being conducted in both FOH and BOH for every event
13. Ensures that all security, safety, and sanitation standards are achieved
14. Achieves daily sales and assigned cost goals
15. Achieves assigned budget goals
16. Provides operational planning to ensure adequate products and equipment are ordered for anticipated business levels
17. Employs good safety and sanitation practices
18. Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
19. Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
20. Ensures team members adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
21. Forecasts and adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets
22. Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
23. Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
24. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and team members
25. Interviews, hires, trains, and develops team members according to Levy guidelines
26. Displays a positive attitude towards team members
27. Mentors department managers to develop their skills and leadership abilities
28. Other duties and responsibilities, as needed

Skills and Experience:

1. 5+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
2. High level of computer literacy
3. Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
4. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
