Overview We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of UX Research and Product Insights to lead and elevate our research and insights practice. In this strategic role, you will drive the integration of user research, data analytics, and product insights into the design and development process, ensuring that user needs and behaviors are at the heart of our product strategy and execution. As the leader of this team, you will collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to uncover opportunities, validate solutions, and shape the overall user experience. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of our products and the culture of user-centered innovation. Key Responsibilities Research Strategy and Leadership

Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for UX research and product insights across the organization. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of researchers and analysts. Develop scalable research frameworks and methodologies that align with business goals and product strategies. Evangelize the value of research and insights within the organization to foster a culture of data-informed decision-making.

Research Execution and Insights

Oversee the planning and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics. Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform product strategy, design decisions, and business objectives. Champion the voice of the user, ensuring it is represented in key product and business discussions. Create and maintain a centralized repository of research and insights to promote knowledge sharing across teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to identify research opportunities and align on priorities. Collaborate with analytics and data teams to integrate behavioral data with qualitative insights for a comprehensive understanding of user behavior. Influence product roadmaps and business strategies by providing compelling insights and recommendations.

Measurement and Impact

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of research and insights on product and business outcomes. Continuously evaluate and improve research practices, tools, and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field. Experience: 10 years of experience in UX research, product insights, or a related field, including 5 years in a leadership role. Deep expertise in a wide range of research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative techniques. Proven experience translating research insights into business and product impact. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with digital products, including web and mobile platforms.

The compensation for this position ranges from $160, 965.00 - $349, 885.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
