We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Global Head of Pershing Marketing to join our Corporate Marketing & Communications team. This role is located in New York City, NY –HYBRID.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic marketing leader for BNY’s RIA & Wealth Intermediary segment.

This leader will be responsible for supporting growth and revenue for this segment across all BNY offerings including Pershing and Wove, as well as other BNY capabilities and solutions. They will be accountable for driving business results in collaboration with multiple Go to Market cross-functional teams, product groups and sales teams.

This position will play a critical role in shaping strategy, messaging and positioning, and creating effective revenue-generating programs. The leader will be responsible for defining, building, and overseeing all marketing, processes, budget, and talent. This is a fast-moving role in a high-velocity environment where the ideal leader will be hands-on in marketing execution to ensure strategic objectives are met.

The successful candidate must have exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing marketing organizations. They will provide regular leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to maximize top talent potential and achieve business objectives.

This is a highly visible position working directly with the Pershing executive leadership team and other senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong working relationships, be obsessed with solving client problems, passionate about technology, exude ownership of the business and be able to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals and objectives. Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition. Lead our annual flagship industry conference, INSITE.

Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads and optimize conversion rates throughout the customer journey. Develop tools and processes to fast track and nurture leads. Execute against an ABM strategy that targets priority accounts.

Customer Acquisition: Design and execute non-traditional customer acquisition strategies driven by data assessments. Establish, monitor, and communicate key metrics to determine the profitability of channels by product offering.

Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting systems to evaluate marketing effectiveness, including ROI analysis, providing regular insights to key stakeholders.

Brand Marketing: Define and reinforce brand positioning and perception, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to develop effective product marketing strategies, including product positioning, value proposition, messaging, and launch plans. Partner closely with other segment leads as well as product group to define relevant offerings to meet our customer needs

Content Strategy: Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content across various channels to engage and educate our audience.

Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to maximize top talent potential and achieve marketing objectives.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives. Foster a culture of results through collaboration and shared goals across departments.

Requirements

Self-starter and proactive leader with 15+ years of building high performance teams

Experience marketing to financial advisors, RIAs and broker-dealers

Highly pragmatic leader willing to drive both strategy and fast-paced execution

Thrive and proven success influencing peers across sales, client success, product management in a highly matrixed environment

Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills

Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short and long term strategic priorities

A drive to constantly optimize and improve, combined with a relentless focus on customer experience

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
