Job Area: Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Marketing General Summary: We have an exciting opportunity within the Commercial Channel Marketing team managing Global channel and partner marketing programs within commercial channels. In this role you will partner across the Qualcomm team to create programs and initiatives to drive our diversification business and front line marketing activities with our Commercial Channel and OEM partners. We are leading the PC AI revolution and looking for a strong contributor to create best in class marketing relationship across the Global Commercial Channel Marketing ecosystem. The ideal candidate will excel in their craft as a strong manager within a team to unparalleled execution and tireless innovation. You will act as a player directly executing and owning a broad range of critical components of our marketing strategy focused on top partners, accounts, industries, and segments for the commercial segments. Commercial Channel Marketing Responsibilities: Manage Global and North America commercial channel partner marketing relationships, including distributors, resellers, and retailers. Collaborate with global marketing teams to create channel-specific marketing collateral, campaigns, and promotions. Help develop marketing framework and programs with the channel to help determine what helps set the product apart from others. Identify data-informed short-term and long-term marketing strategies, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize the creation of deep collaboration and trust with customers, partners, and the field. Partner with our Channel Sales Teams to develop co-marketing motions with top partners and support MDF process. Collaborate on the development of joint marketing plans with channel partners to drive demand generation and sales. Ensure timely execution of programs in channel and monitor channel performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to optimize partner success. Produce a monthly commercial channel report covering relevant market insights, sales and promotional results, and upcoming actions. Commercial Channel Event Marketing execution - Execute a strategic plan to support channel partners and identify priority channel events and incorporate them into the marketing plan. Work across the marketing, sales, and product management teams to align on strategy and supporting event activities for Commercial Marketing. Integrate into the overall QC global event strategy, support the work of the broader team to deliver on event enablement. Manage post-event metrics and event performance for reporting for optimization of strategy and linkage to business results. Leadership Characteristics: Ensure seamless communication and alignment between sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams. Actively thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes. Proven experience in developing and implementing channel marketing and sales enablement programs, tools, and processes. Strong thought leadership, influential communication skills, and a capacity to guide and direct field-facing initiatives. Collaborates horizontally and vertically with internal stakeholders to gain buy-in and alignment and solicits input regarding priorities and resources needed to deliver desired outcomes for capitalizing on industry trends across the product portfolio. Proven effective project management capability in a highly-matrixed, customer-centric organization. High energy and contagious enthusiasm. Willing to take on tough projects and challenges. This is an office-based position located in San Diego, CA and is not eligible for remote work. This position will require the ability to travel - estimated 30-40%. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. *Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective channel enablement and channel strategies. Strong understanding of PC industry trends, products, and competitive landscape including emphasis on the B2B buying processes and lead generation and nurturing tactics and tools. Experience leading Commercial Channel marketing programs engagement with a proven track record and expertise in building best-in-class programs and relationships. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with sales, marketing, and executive teams.
