What You'll Bring: 15+ years' experience in business development, product development, sales, finance, or consulting within the media & entertainment advertising industry Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or economics preferred - or - strong financial experience and acumen MBA is desired and strongly preferred Experience in digital tech required with CTV/streaming/addressable media strongly preferred Knowledge of insights of media measurement will have distinct advantages; similarly, candidates with first-hand experience around the specific challenges the industry faces around the evolution of identity, signal loss, audience segmentation are required Ability to act independently, confidently make recommendations and decisions Demonstrable ability to navigate complexity Impact You'll Make: This role will act as a key business partner on the Media & Entertainment team and is responsible for developing, refining, and executing strategic priorities to grow the business. This role will partner and collaborate with stakeholders across customer-facing sales, solutions, and account teams, as well as product, finance, and marketing teams. The VP, Strategy will have a point-of-view and experience of understanding the opportunities that come with the evolution of identity, audiences, and analytics for media brands, media agencies, ad tech platforms & data companies, publishers, and advanced TV companies. Lead TransUnion's effort to grow its business in the U.S. within the media & entertainment vertical, with accountability for strategizing, writing, and activating on the annual 3-year plan Engage deeply with a cross-functional matrix to enable bookings and revenue Align tightly with the Strategic Partnerships team to forge relationships and understanding of key accounts in order to grow opportunities Stay closely aligned with industry trends and movements and create strategic partnership opportunities Analyze key business drivers, competitive sets and market impact, identify macro-economic impacts, regulatory changes, disruptive innovations, and industry specific trends Identify new product & solution opportunities, write opportunity briefs, and help influence strategic product prioritization Grow new and lead expansion plans beyond Marketing Solutions into other TransUnion solutions Tightly align strategy and account planning efforts across other TransUnion verticals Provide strategy and a POV for content for thought leadership, industry events, PR agency engagement, and work closely with marketing and product marketing in representing M&E in GTM efforts Represent TransUnion and its solutions publicly on stage, in the press, and in recorded videos as an expert and thought leader Manage monthly and quarterly revenue reporting processes Adapt and prioritize tasks effectively to meet shifting priorities and deadlines Maintain a high level of confidentiality, trustworthiness, and judgment in handling sensitive information Partner closely with senior leadership to develop strategic direction for projects and planning Application Information: The application window for this job posting is estimated to close on December 21, 2024. Pay Scale Information: The salary range for this position is $177,400.00 - $302,500.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s).
