Peraton is seeking a talented Software/Web Developer to join our dynamic Agile team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of the Object Management Service (OMS) - a cutting-edge, secure API designed to revolutionize object production and management. Built on a modern architecture of discrete analytics, storage, and data microservices, OMS ensures seamless integration across multiple missions and applications, supporting critical operations.
What You'll Do

As a Software/Web Developer, you will:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and executives to gather requirements and effectively communicate project updates.
  2. Develop and enhance web-based applications using modern frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.
  3. Leverage Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) to manage tasks and deliverables efficiently.
  4. Support and enhance the OMS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and integration across diverse mission sets.
  5. Bridge the gap between technical concepts and team communication, ensuring smooth development processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  1. Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
  3. Core Competencies:
    1. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
    2. Solid understanding of software development principles and technical concepts to facilitate teamwork.
    3. Hands-on experience with modern web application frameworks like Vue, Angular, and/or React.
    4. Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automated deployments.
  2. Security+ or DoD 8570 baseline certification.
  3. Experience with version control systems like Git.
  4. Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL storage technologies for managing structured and unstructured data.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
