Shape trends and ignite your imagination as our Textile Designer . In this newly created role, you'll be challenged to develop new and original textile and fabric designs and prints for each retail season, collaborating with a skilled team of apparel design professionals. Reimagine fashion with us. Textile Designer – What You Will Do You will create unique textile designs and work alongside an experienced team of apparel designers. You will: Create unique textile fabric/prints for yarn-dyed, knits, and fabrics including repeat patterns Create original designs for fashion apparel for every retail season (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter) Evaluate fabrics, prints, garment samples, handlooms, strike-offs, and lab dips Research and interpret emerging trends and best practices to create seasonal designs that follow brand aesthetic Prioritize multiple design projects while meeting tight deadlines Textile Designer – Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit You are tech-savvy and very experienced using Adobe Illustrator You have experience in textile and print design, and understand technical aspects of apparel design You understand textiles, fabrics, fibers, and how prints will different fibers will take prints You are self-directed and driving your own career, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Can provide an updated professional portfolio of your past work, including original designs, Tech Packs, prints and patterns You have a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, Costume Design, or related field of study You are happy to work in office, Monday through Friday in Fort Worth, Texas Textile Designer – You Might Have Experience with eCommerce fashion merchandise Compensation $58,656 salary, depending on experience.
