Position Overview: As a Cabinet Designer, you will be responsible for reading blue prints and creating innovative and functional cabinet designs that meet client specifications while adhering to industry standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and the production team to ensure designs are executed flawlessly, from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients, contractors or designers to understand their design preferences, needs, and budgets.
- Create custom cabinet designs using CAD software, Cabinet Vision and 2020, producing detailed drawings and specifications.
- Develop 3D renderings and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
- Collaborate with the production and installation teams to ensure feasibility and accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships throughout the design process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cabinet designer.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, 2020, SketchUp) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, construction methods, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a creative flair and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
