Job description - what you will do: Craft and produce high-quality visuals, including graphics, images, and other multimedia content for all social platforms daily Own graphic design and art direction from concept through delivery, working with content team to conceptualize and develop creative assets for web and social channels Ensure that all social media content aligns with Brooklyn Media's brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity Stay up to date with the latest design trends and standard processes for various social media platforms Work closely with the social media team, copywriters, and other collaborators to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for campaigns and promotions. Assist in crafting content calendars and schedules to ensure a consistent and timely posting strategy across social media channels. Develop visually engaging posts that encourage audience interaction, sharing, and participation in discussions. Be flexible and adaptable to real-time events or trending topics, incorporating them into content strategies when relevant. Candidate profile - who you are: 5-7+ years of experience in a graphic design role, preferably in media or publishing Proven experience as a designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your creative work. Ability to conceptualize, build, and quickly turn around high quality, engaging, social creative Proficiency in graphic design software and video editing tools. Illustration skills a definite plus Robust knowledge of current events, pop culture, sports, and music. Deep understanding of social media platforms and their respective standard processes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for staying current with design and social media trends. Must be willing to work nights and weekends/holidays for coverage as needed Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Travel requirements May be required to travel on occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights. Salary range $90,000 - $120,000 Work environment Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
