America's Test Kitchen seeks an Assistant Video Producer to shoot and edit original video content for YouTube and other platforms. Ideal candidates have experience in short- and medium-form videos, a passion for food, proficiency with cameras and video editing tools, strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced team environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Produce, shoot, and edit video content for YouTube and other video initiatives.

  • Support planning, scripting, and shooting tasks in pre-production.

  • Operate cameras (Sony experience preferred), lenses, lighting, and grip gear.

  • Stay up-to-date on video production best practices.

  • Edit video content, including basic color correction.

  • Collaborate with senior team members and work independently.

  • Manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Assist with additional video production as needed.

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years in shooting, producing, and editing video content.

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).

  • Strong communication skills, able to give and receive feedback effectively.

  • Team-oriented, yet capable of working independently.

  • Culinary video experience and a passion for cooking are a plus.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
