Aviator Sports and Events Center is a world class multi-use sporting and event complex located at Gateway National Park in Brooklyn, New York. Aviator's 170,000 - square foot facility is comprised of an 18,000 - square foot indoor field house with two hardwood basketball courts; two indoor turf fields; two NHL regulation size ice rinks; a15,000-square-foot gymnastics; a 2,200-square-foot fitness center; two outdoor turf fields; a golf range and par 3 golf course is searching for a full-time Marketing Manager.
Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will manage and execute integrated marketing programs consistent with the brand and corporate strategy. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of Aviator's marketing initiatives including; brand presentation, overall marketing strategy, print and online advertising, direct mail and email campaigns, field marketing initiatives, collateral materials, promotions and special offers, and social media strategies.
What will you DO?
• Create and oversee specific strategies for all social media outlets including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X-formerly/Twitter)
• Implement, and facilitate marketing goals and strategies for the organization as well as create and enforce a consistent brand style guide and taglines
• Oversee marketing database that includes prospect and client information; utilize that database to communicate with current and prospective clients, track and modify communications accordingly
• Spearhead the execution of marketing initiative, including market research, testing, analysis and multi- channel campaigns.
• Oversee and manage the website and processes related to updating the website both on a short-term and a long-term basis
• Develop and implement an internal communications program that will focus on the sharing of information across departments and foster a feeling of unity within the organization
• Successful track record in increasing online traffic, generating leads, and other marketing goals
• Content management (including social media, website, and newsletter)
Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong management, multitasking and decision- making skills
• Motivated team player and enthusiastic leader
• Ability to formulate and deliver strong and measurable strategies
• Possess efficient organizational skills and excellent project management skills
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Word Press, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, BrightEdge and Canava or Photoshop
• Demonstrate proficiency with social media (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X-formerly/Twitter)
• Must be available to work flexible hours when needed.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management or related field with 3 - 5 years experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Salary Transparency
The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $55- $70 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
