We are seeking a strategic and results-driven

Grain Strategy and Marketing Manager

to oversee grain operations, risk management, and financial performance across all locations. This leadership role focuses on managing grain positions, driving profitability, and developing short- and long-term strategies to ensure the division's success. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in commodity trading, risk management, and team leadership to deliver outstanding results while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Grain Strategy and Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of company grain operations, including buying, selling, and marketing grain. Manage the daily execution of grain hedging strategies and position management in line with company policies. Develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and P&L targets to achieve divisional financial goals. Lead, mentor, and grow the grain risk management team to drive performance. Establish and manage competitive bid structures while marketing grain positions to third parties profitably. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and forecasting to inform decision-making and strategies. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic growth plans for the division. Ensure contract pricing administration and maintain timely communication with account managers and growers. Provide timely reporting on pricing, schedules, contracts, and relevant competitor activities. Attend industry events, trade shows, and educational opportunities to stay current on trends and innovations. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Grain Strategy and Marketing Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in commodity trading, grain merchandising, or risk management. Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and mentoring. Excellent financial acumen, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative management style.
