Role Overview:
This individual is the organization’s digital communication subject matter expert, leading INPRS in effective stakeholder engagement through all appropriate forms of website digital communication and UX design standards. They also provide design expertise and best practices recommendations to team members within communications and ensure other departments meet INPRS’ branding and design guidelines. This includes channels such as the secure and public websites, online interactive applications and tools, the INPRS Connect site, social media channels, videos, and targeted e-mails.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $41,272 - $53,600 per year, depending on years of experience.
A Day in the Life:
The essential elements of the job duties:
Assist in conducting user research and usability testing
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for digital products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers
Ongoing, proactive maintenance of INPRS public website and other external and internal digital communications channels
Contribute to the design of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
Help maintain and evolve our design system
Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques
Stay updated on UX trends and best practices

What You'll Need for Success:
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in digital communication, UX, human-computer interaction or related field.
Training and experience with website maintenance and design (HTML, CSS), standard UX strategies, and UX principles.
0-2 years of experience in leading effective digital communication initiatives.
This person must have the following requirements to be considered for employment:
Some knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript and responsive design is preferred
Familiarity with UX best practices
Knowledge and/or experience with research best practices and the ability to translate research into solutions
Proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Solid grasp of user-centered design principles
Familiarity with accessibility standards
Core Competencies:
Portfolio demonstrating your design process and skills
Ability to make innovative decisions based on INPRS’s mission, values, and vision, as well as voice of the customer research and feedback.
Ability to lead high-profile projects and advocate for best practices within subject matter expertise.
Strong confidence and competence in computer use, including ability to self-learn new applications and processes.
Demonstrated commitment to learn, grow and achieve. Knowledge, education, etc.
