The Senior Creative Manager role is an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower a team of creatives to develop strategic, visually compelling work that radiates the LEGO Brand voice. This role is responsible for building business-driving creative that engages and converts LEGO shoppers across online ecommerce platforms.
The Senior Creative Manager thinks strategically, critically, and creatively to translate brand and commercial strategies into best-in-class dynamic digital content. This person will play a leading role in the eCommerce Team’s in-house creative agency (eAgency).
This role calls for a visionary problem solver who excels in both big-picture creativity and meticulous attention to detail. They will oversee the end-to-end management of creative projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets while leading cross-functional teams, maintaining creative excellence, and driving collaboration across departments from concept through final execution.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial driving creative strategy for eCommerce rooted in brand, shopper, and consumer insights.
- Build business-driving, portfolio-worthy work by creatively leading from ideation to final execution on some projects while inspiring and directing junior talent on others.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assure creative integration between stores and eCommerce (omnichannel), working with Trade Marketing and AMS marketing to ensure a consistent and seamless shopper experience.
- Oversee localization of creative assets for AMS customers, internal and external partners, and B2B campaigns to accomplish business objectives that deliver on the brief.
- Serve as project manager to supervise multiple, concurrent, and complex projects, managing team workflows to ensure on-time delivery of assets. Scope and delegate work streams within the creative team based on briefs, project needs, and priorities.
- Act as a leading voice and key thought partner for AMS across teams including the LEGO Agency, Marketing, and other global teams to advocate for B2B needs and ensure creative and content meet the requirements for all retailers.
- Continue to establish the eCommerce Team’s in-house agency to find new and better ways of working in AMS by enhancing practices related to brief submissions, processes, approvals, timelines, etc.
- Operate as the brand steward for AMS by protecting the LEGO brand to deliver creative that adheres to brand guidelines and act as the approver for all third-party content.
- Continually review retail sites and competitive activity to assess opportunities and identify trends.
Do you have what it takes?
- 8-10+ years of experience in retail B2B/eCommerce/Digital design.
- Experience developing creative assets and campaigns for B2B retail media – such as display ads that would appear on websites.
- Experience with large B2B retailers such as Amazon or Walmart required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful work and a high standard of design excellence.
- Experience managing individuals and teams of people.
- Understanding of eCommerce, with experience developing creative for retail sites within consumer-packaged goods and/or children’s category.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrated excellence in digital design.
- Project management experience, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task across multiple pieces of business and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Collaborative, team-oriented but also ambitious, curious, independent, not afraid to challenge the status quo and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Mature, thoughtful, well-rounded problem solver who can balance pushing for creative excellence while also meeting business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels.

Additional details for this position:
- This position will initially be based at 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.

- The salary for this position has a range of $124,000 - $187,000 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
