Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and design, with proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks. This role requires a creative problem solver who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet our clients' needs. Duties

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using modern web technologies and frameworks

  • Collaborate with designers to implement engaging user interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring responsiveness across various devices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and resolve issues.

  • Maintain and Manage Google Maps API Integration: Oversee and ensure the proper functionality of the website’s location feature, which uses Google Maps API. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate location services, troubleshooting API issues, updating API keys, managing location-based data, and optimizing performance. Stay up to date with changes or updates to the Google API, ensuring the feature remains functional as the website expands and evolves.

  • Ensure compliance with best practices in web design and development while adhering to security standards.

  • Manage and Optimize Website Storage: Oversee the website’s storage infrastructure, ensuring efficient use of space for assets, user data, and other critical resources. Regularly monitor storage capacity and performance to prevent issues, and work on enhancing storage solutions to accommodate website growth. Responsibilities include optimizing databases, managing file uploads, archiving data when necessary, and implementing best practices for data storage and retrieval. Stay informed about storage solutions (e.g., cloud services, local storage, etc.) and suggest improvements to scale storage as the website grows.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails.

  • Experience with content management systems.

  • Experience with WordPress, Hostinger, Google API, & Hive Press Plugin

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and the SDLC process.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • A passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in web development.
