Service Writer Job at Zimmerman Truck Repair, Inc. in Mifflintown

Responsibilities

• Ensure that customers and drivers are greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Prepare detailed repair order write-ups.
• Assist in preparing repair estimates.
• Open, review, and close repair orders.
• Prepare invoices.
• Schedule appointments.
• Update customers with the status of their repairs.
• Assist with customer inquiries.
• Prepare warranty claims.
• Work closely with the GM of Maintenance and Foremen to maintain an efficient flow of work through our facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a well-organized self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text, etc.) and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills are a must.
• Minimum 1 year of Service Writing experience or experience in a relatable field such as Diesel or Automotive Technician.
• Must possess a valid PA driver's license and be able to meet company auto insurability standards.
