Position Overview : As the Marketing Generalist at PCS Software, Inc., you will join a small, high-impact marketing team where every contribution matters. This hands-on, on site, role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual to execute marketing initiatives, including customer and partner communication, event planning, social and email marketing, and project management. Based in Houston, Texas, at our corporate headquarters, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive brand growth, engagement, and innovation in the logistics and software industry.
Customer Communication : Collaborate
with Customer Success to execute customer-facing communication strategies,
including newsletters, webinars, and product updates. Ensure all customer communication aligns with the company's tone, branding, and
strategic goals. Partnership Marketing : Develop co-marketing materials for integration partners, such as case studies, joint campaigns, and webinars. Coordinate with partners to align on messaging, timelines, and goals for collaborative marketing initiatives. Content Calendar Management : Own the monthly content calendar, ensuring alignment across social media, blogs, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and other content streams. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contributors to meet deadlines for content creation and publication. Social Media Management : Manage the social media calendar, create content, and schedule posts to align with ongoing campaigns. Monitor engagement and adjust strategies based on performance metrics. Event and Tradeshow Logistics : • Handle event planning, including booth setup, swag management, and travel arrangements. • Act as the on-site coordinator to ensure flawless execution during events. • Support the planning and promotional efforts for events and tradeshows. Execution and Coordination : Write, build, and schedule marketing emails, social posts, and campaign deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to execute campaigns effectively. Administrative and Organizational Support : Track and report marketing expenses, ensuring accurate budget usage. Maintain and organize marketing assets and resources for the team. Use project management tools to track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met. Performance Metrics ·
Customer Communication:
You will be able to show through tracked activity metrics how your work directly increases customer communication and satisfaction scores (NPS). ·
Partner Marketing:
You will be able to show through tracked activity monthly, quarterly, and annually the number of joint partner initiatives that were executed and number of partner engagements that were completed and the impact they show based on growth in partner/channel sales generated revenue activity how your work increased PCS' overall brand reputation and awareness. ·
Project Success : You will be able to show how you made an impact on sales activity measured by on-time delivery, adherence to scope, and stakeholder satisfaction of the projects you are assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. ·
Event Execution : Your event execution effectiveness will be tracked by quality of on-site performance, budget adherence, and lead generation resulting from each event.

Position Requirements : Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related business, technical, or creative field. Strong proficiency with Generative AI tools for content creation and optimization as well as the ability to create and edit custom content on your own. It is too easy to spot AI created content. We want you to use the tools as a baseline, and then use your knowledge of the transportation and SaaS industries to utilize content that is not just a wash, rinse, and repeat of what everyone else is posting. Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and CRM systems, specifically, Salesforce, are a requirement for this role. 5+ years of experience in a marketing role with demonstrated event and project management skills. We are looking for someone capable of owning 20+ events annually with budgets of $20k-$100K per event. Proficiency with Monday.com or similar project management tools. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position is not only serving as the marketing generalist and
coordinator but also as the creative marketing team member. You are being hired so PCS can decrease agency spending and dependence. You need to be able to do your job without assistance from junior team members (as there are not any) and with minimal oversight from other senior marketing team members. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and resourceful approach. Expect regular domestic travel to attend and manage events, conferences, and tradeshows.
