Job Description
Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company that provides managed services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios. It is also a top producer of live multicamera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate broadcast productions. BMG operates in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.
Broadcast Management Group is looking for a full-time Broadcast Systems Integration Installer (BSII) to install, build, and install broadcast systems, maintain all broadcast equipment, and provide ongoing support for BMG REMI Productions. The BSII must have extensive experience installing systems for live, multi-camera production environments and events. Ideal candidates must be able to work with different internal teams and possess a strong attention to detail.
Essential Functions:
- Must have experience installing broadcast systems
- Knowledge of different types of Broadcast equipment and the types of connectors used
- Terminate, label, and test video, audio, control and network wires from a wire list
- Prepare and install broadcast and network equipment in equipment racks and production consoles using proper hardware and racking methods
- Ability to pull cables between sub-systems and rooms
- Knowledge of approved broadcast installation standards and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand wiring drawings
- Ability to wire up equipment using company policies and standards for quality and neatness
- Assist with the installation and repair of machinery and electronic equipment
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment; (a plus, if you own your own tools)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and work well with different teams
