Located in East Providence, Rhode Island, we pride ourselves on creating a vibrant community where athletes and their families feel supported both on and off the mat.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with experience in B2C marketing to play a key role in driving the growth and engagement of our program. In addition to leading our social media marketing efforts, you will serve as the friendly face of our front desk operations. This is a part-time, in-person role with opportunities to grow in your marketing career while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media MarketingCreate, schedule, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).Plan and execute campaigns to promote events, programs, and athlete achievements.Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.Collaborate with the coaching staff to capture and share real-time moments that highlight our team culture.Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.Front Desk OperationsWelcome athletes, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, payment processing, and managing inquiries via phone and email.Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.Act as a liaison between families and coaches to address questions and concerns.General Marketing SupportAssist in designing marketing materials such as flyers, email newsletters, and event signage.Support promotional activities for events, competitions, and new program launches.Contribute to community outreach initiatives to increase local visibility.Qualifications1–2 years of experience in B2C marketing (internships or entry-level roles are welcome).Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask.Proficiency in basic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.Familiarity with cheerleading or youth athletics is a bonus but not required.Why Join Cheer UP Athletics?Be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.Opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth and success of our athletes and program.Enjoy a role that blends creativity, marketing, and customer interaction.Schedule: Part-time (30 hours), in-person role.
