Summary:

As a Video Editor, you'll produce compelling content that highlights our equipment, shares customer stories, and enhances our legacy. With a strong focus on video editing and collaboration, youll have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art studio while occasionally supporting in-studio and on-field shoots.

This role is part of our Visual Services photo/video department, which operates from a cutting-edge 50,000 sq. ft. studio in East Moline, IL. Contribute your skills to help shape our story and connect with audiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing (70%): Create, edit, and deliver professional videos ranging from social media content to long-form productions.
  • Production Support (20%): Assist with video shoots in our studio and on location, including equipment setup and operation.
  • Studio Maintenance (10%): Support the organization and upkeep of the studio space.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 57 years of video editing experience.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Proficiency with professional cinema cameras (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, RED).

Additional Skills:
  • Strong communication and project management skills with a focus on post-production workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of file formats, codecs, transcoding, and export processes.
  • Basic understanding of video lighting, audio, and general production equipment.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic audio editing for optimal sound quality.
  • Physical ability to navigate rough terrain, endure various weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and adaptable to feedback.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in a variety of video projects, from small promotions to large-scale productions.
  • Experience in motion graphics or 2D/3D animation.
  • Familiarity with operating or filming heavy equipment and industrial settings.
  • Previous work in agriculture, construction, forestry, or turf industries is a plus.

Education:
A four-year degree in editing, motion graphics, or videographyor equivalent work experienceis required.
