Description:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists:
- With the process of withdrawing superseded and weeded items including de-linking items and maintaining statistics.
- In managing and training Technical Services student assistants including prioritizing projects and tasks.
- In training student assistants on government documents receiving and processing.
- In writing and revising Technical Services policies and procedures
- With preparing invoices for processing for both Alma entry as well as entry in the Kuali Financial System (KFS) and reconciling billing statements reporting any unusual invoicing matters to appropriate staff.
- With monitoring of library research materials to ensure they have been updated correctly.
Performing bibliographic searching. - In maintaining and updating various records in the Law Library's integrated library system (Alma) including bibliographic, holding and acquisitions records.
- In processing invoice post-KFS.
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with library or equivalent work experience.
- Possess the ability to work under minimum supervision, effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Possess effective time management and organizational skills and have the capability to successfully manage multiple projects.
- Good command of PC and software.
- Knowledge of and experience with the Law Library's integrated library system (Alma).
- Knowledge of general library practices and procedures.
