We’re looking for a flexible and versatile individual who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound sales channels. Our Marketing and sales manager focuses on developing leads and contracts for Chesapeake Regional Pharmacy Services, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in health care, home care, ltc, or a similar industry. Able to provide education is very valuable.
Chesapeake Regional Rx is seeking an experienced Sales/Marketing Director to develop and manage relationships within ltc communities.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with ltc communities
- Conduct market analysis; develop sales strategy, goals, and plans.
- Conducting sales calls and evaluating results and effectiveness of sales activity.
- Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.
- Networking and conference support to build market awareness and brand loyalty
- Work in a team environment and leverage colleagues unique talents for success
- Able to provide education to communities a plus
- Develop education programs and present to target market
- Generate leads via Cold calling, making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
- Meet with clients to promote, educate, and highlight our products and services
- Generate leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows
- Ability to travel within target area
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Associates Degree.
- At least two years recent sales experience in the health care industry, preferably in long term care / home health / or pharmacy
- Formal sales training.
- Proven sales results in prior sales roles
- Proven ability to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan.
- Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical.
- The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and be able to readily network in the community.
- Display your mastery of working effectively as part of our magical team, bringing synergy to the pharmacy.
- Travel at least 50%
