The Transportation Partner Experience team is seeking a seasoned Event Marketing Manager to act as a key workstream lead for some of our biggest proprietary events and lead some of our smaller event programs end to end. The ideal candidate has a proven history managing complex workstreams, is a strong project manager capable of overseeing multiple concurrent programs, and is passionate about creating impactful customer experiences. Your responsibility as an Event Marketing Manager will include executing event and creative strategy, managing a complex matrix of internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, and providing status updates to leadership on owned programs. This person will be able to effectively own their assigned remit while rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done – no detail will be too small and they'll never say "that's not my job". They’ll obsess over details, anticipate roadblocks before they become issues, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with experiential agency and internal creative team to design engaging and immersive event elements
Manage a complex web of business stakeholders to gather inputs when building event experiences and partner with them through the lifecycle of event planning, ensuring a high experiential bar is met and business goals are achieved
Partner with Event Lead where applicable to ensure workstream integrates seamlessly into holistic event experience and is represented in all event marketing collateral as appropriate
Communicate status updates to executive leadership on owned programs
Manage budgets and workback schedules
Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, juggle competing priorities and ensure all deadlines are being met
Actively look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness
Support on-site execution of events. Ability to travel for onsite event execution and work across time zones.

The Transportation Partner Experience team (TPX) builds innovative and engaging community-focused products for external Amazon partners like Delivery Service Partner (DSPs). Small businesses are critical to many aspects of Amazon’s ecosystem and the TPX team helps these partners be successful by fostering community connections, accelerating learning opportunities, and providing customer feedback mechanisms on program and product initiatives and updates.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
2+ years managing expo or tradeshows for large scale events
Preferred Qualifications
- - Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
