The 3-time WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks are looking for a Videographer/Video Editor to join their team! The Videographer/Video Editor will help take the Sparks marketing channels and social media platforms to the next level by gaining experience working in the fast-paced environment of the WNBA. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking and motivated individual who can work independently, collaborate with the team, and help the Sparks reach fans across the globe within their digital channels. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and Sparks policies, practices, and procedures as well as within the framework and intent of organizational vision and values. This position works under the direction of the VP of Marketing and Communications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the creation of game day digital content for both home and away games with dynamic visual story telling through videography and editing skill set
- Lead assignment of game day videos and day to day content duties with Sparks marketing team
- Create digital content for various departments on all campaigns and projects
- Assist in live-streamed coverage and events, along with film and/or edit highlight videos in-game and postgame press conferences
- Prioritize and coordinate photos or videos from multiple sources with ability to log and label material for future use
- Maintain best practices with production workflow and file management systems
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to work with video equipment and settings
- Intermediate level of photo and video editing is required, which include strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom
- Graphic design experience is a plus
- Outstanding attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required
- Ability to edit digital and social media content with a quick turnaround in a collaborative setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working in a collaborative, deadline orientated environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Digital Cinema, Communications, Broadcast Media or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in digital media production including videography and editing
- Past video work examples required (personal or professional projects/portfolio)
- Ability to film, edit and produce content
- Knowledge of the Sparks and the WNBA highly preferred
- Motion Design experience preferred
- Previous experience working for WNBA or other professional women's sports team
- Experience working in video editing, preferably in the sports and entertainment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Available to work on-site on Sparks home games and remotely for road games, including late evening hours
- Possible travel for away games and Sparks events
- Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA

Compensation commensurate with experience; minimum starting salary $68,000
