is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our Federal contracting efforts forward.
Job Description: Participate in the entire proposal process, from initial planning to final submission. Review and interpret RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitation documents to understand client needs and evaluation criteria. Create detailed content plans, outlines, and schedules to address all aspects of the proposal effectively. Collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and other team members to gather necessary information. Write and edit key proposal sections, including technical and management sections, resumes, and past performance stories. Conduct internal reviews to check proposal readiness, identify gaps, and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other standards. Oversee the compilation and submission of proposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Organize and maintain proposal documents for future reference and compliance audits. Contribute to process improvement initiatives for proposal development and quality standards. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
6 years of IT-related proposal writing experience within the Federal GovCon sector. High attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output. Experience working with the public sector and understanding their processes. Ability to analyze and summarize Sources Sought, RFIs, RFQs, and Task Orders. Proven ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills. Expertise in translating complex concepts into clear, concise communications. Experience as a section lead, author, or coordinator for large, complex proposals. Skilled in participating in Gate Reviews and managing quality checkpoints. Experience providing direction for proposal graphics. Familiarity with technical writing and translating technical documents into accessible proposal content.
