We’re looking for an innovative, creative and self-sufficient Social Media Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team. This person will play an active role in the execution of part of Unwell’s social media, content and community building strategies. They will focus on ideating & creating highly engaging content, writing conversation sparking captions, and work on building and engaging with the community across a range of social channels within Unwell Network. This is a position for a driven self-starter who can thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and video editing skills are a plus. You always act in a professional manner and can interact with high caliber talent and their teams in order to represent Unwell accordingly. You have the ability to respond positively and act with a sense of urgency to challenging work and deadlines. You have a desire to learn and grow within the Unwell team.

WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO: Social Media Storytelling: Plug into our existing social process in regards to creation of engaging content from ideation to execution to posting to tracking engagement that would literally stop thumbs as they’re scrolling on their feeds. Concept Reels / TikToks that are extremely engaging as well as culturally relevant and do not dilute the specific podcast’s brand as well as Unwell’s. Write captions that are highly engaging with a strong pulse on culture. Be able to listen back on full podcast episodes and identify parts of the episode to share back across Instagram and TikTok where each cutdown is engaging and diversified as well as tell a well rounded story when put next to each other. Subtitle cutdowns with a strong attention to detail (both with a visual eye as well as a keen eye on grammar) Collaborate with the rest of the social team to brainstorm content ideas for upcoming months, taking into account current trends and brand marketing moments. Interpret insights from weekly/monthly analytics to inform content strategy. Build and Capture Social Shot lists for in person events and/or photoshoots Community Management: Manage Unwell's community across the channels you are working on. Respond to all direct messages within 24 hours. Engage with all tagged Instagram and TikTok posts through liking and commenting. Like a bulk of the comments within the posts you are posting. Reply to a fair percentage of Instagram and TikTok comments on your posts. Operations: Build out call agendas for your one-on-ones with any managers Come prepared with bullet points of things to discuss with the greater team on weekly touchbases. Track and respond to information flow, slack and emails in a timely and accurate manner.

Who We Are Looking For:

2-3 years experience in the professional social media / community building space 4+ years of experience using general social media outlets 2+ years of experience with video editing tools Excellent organization skills, detail orientation, and time management Ability to manage personal projects from idea to execution Impeccable people skills and the ability to communicate with anyone with grace and hospitality Strong listening skills and the ability to carry a conversation without sharing too much information in regards to the company or personal relations Ability to solve problems quickly and confidently, but also raise a hand when help is needed Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Strategic thinker Technically savvy including experience in G-Suite, Slack, and project management tools High level of trustworthiness and integrity Extremely professional with non-biased mindset Proactive thinker and executer Natural storyteller Witty, funny and have your pulse on culture Strong understanding of the digital space and what content will perform best within each platform Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines Has a “no task to small” attitude A consistent and open communicator; not afraid to ask questions
