Job Summary:
We are a frontrunner for success in providing comprehensive mechanical, electrical and plumbing, technology, and fire protection engineering design services. Our engineers are focused on system performance, reliability, flexibility, and ease of maintenance. Our work typically consists of large commercial projects, primarily award-winning K-12 schools. With an emphasis on teamwork, we reach beyond the traditional MEP approach to solve problems and integrate a more holistic style to our processes. You will find a fast-paced environment with many opportunities to learn and accelerate your career. You will produce and edit construction drawings and specifications for Division 27 and Division 28 low voltage systems. Y ou will coordinate with architects, project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors to facilitate the successful design of these systems. Provide design and project management support for the following systems: Structured cabling (fiber/copper) Public Address/Intercom Sound reinforcement Video distribution Intrusion detection Access control Video surveillance ERRC Fire alarm
Work within industry code requirements and proper construction methods involved in designing the listed systems Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the systems listed above Associates degree in technology/communications engineering or 5+ years industry experience 1-3 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD experience Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy Strong oral, written, and communication skills Excellent time-management and organizational skills BICSI RCDD CNID NICET Fire Alarm NICET Security AVIXA CTS DSA Experience
