Description:
Global Communication & Marketing (GCM) team is looking for an experienced marketing project manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex marketing programs – including industry events, corporate announcements and product launches – driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have experience in workflow management, project management, resource management and risk assessment. They will be adept at creating and managing workflows within project management tools. As duties will be diverse and multi-faceted, you must be well organized, a self-starter and coordinate multiple projects. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and with excellence.
Responsibilities Include: Drive program and project execution by: Aligning on project scope, available resources and methods for risk and quality management Partner with stakeholders to align on key planning milestones and deliverables Ongoing monitoring of scope, status, resourcing, quality and risk Navigating ambiguity and mitigating obstacles to ensure quality work is delivered on schedule Creating and managing multiple projects simultaneously in GCM’s project management tool, Workfront Identifying need and cadence for stakeholder meetings and communication Identifying and managing cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed to drive to completion Collaborate with GCM teams, including corporate communications, events, product and technology marketing, web, digital and social media, and creative studio to ensure cohesive and successful execution of projects. Lead planning and creation of workflows where none exist. Monitor and analyze program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of marketing initiatives. Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to support program execution and achieve desired outcomes. Identify and mitigate risks associated with marketing programs, ensuring successful outcomes. Employ critical thinking and project management skills to govern a program or project from every angle; foresee risks and proactively seek resolution early in the project life cycle Build relationships with stakeholders Serve as a reliable, driven project manager Champion, implement and/or help drive process and reflect them in project management tool Maintain quality service by enforcing and establishing standards and best-known practices Create and contribute to organization-wide process documentation and make recommendations to improve consistency and efficiencies across future programs and projects
Desired Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word) Ability to take in information, synthesize/interpret requests, and take action Strong project management skills and attention to deadlines Detailed oriented Demonstrated cross-functional communication, diplomacy, and relationship building skills Proven success working with all levels of management and stakeholders Proactive in seeking information needed to close gaps Agility and speed in decision making with comfort in taking an iterative approach Show flexibility and adaptability through evolving departmental processes Advocate for diversity and inclusion Process management and quality focus
Education/Experience: 5+ years project or program management experience Project management tool experience required, i.e. Monday.com, WorkFront, Asana, etc. *WorkFront is preferred Professional certification in program and project management preferred, such as PMP or PRINCE2 Degree/Major: Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication and/or IT related field Knowledge of change management principles and marketing operations Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation and organization
Pay Rate Range: $50-55/hr
