Job Description: We are seeking a talented Toy Packaging Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating packaging designs for our range of toys across various categories such as pre-school toys, dolls & collectibles. As an experienced Packaging Designer in the toy industry, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity through innovative concepts while focusing more on design rather than production.
Responsibilities: - Develop unique and eye-catching packaging designs for our toy products. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Marketing, and Graphic Designers to understand product requirements and brand guidelines. - Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with current trends in toy packaging design. - Conceptualize and present creative ideas that align with brand positioning and target audience. - Create 2D artwork files using graphic design software for print production purposes. - Ensure all packaging designs meet quality standards while adhering to project timelines. - Provide guidance on printing techniques and materials selection suitable for different types of toys. - Work closely with suppliers/vendors to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a Packaging Designer within the toy industry or related field. - Strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in creating compelling packaging designs. - Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). - Knowledge of print production processes and materials. - Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
