Marketing/Business Development Manager (St. Louis or Houston)

As we create impactful and inspiring experiences for our clients to help them connect people and their environments in meaningful ways, we hope our new Marketing/Business Development Manager will help do the same for our team, clients and professional community. The ideal candidate for this position will not only be passionate about the arts, technology and architecture, but will have a clear understanding of the circular nature that exists between marketing and business development, especially as it applies to the AEC industry.

This is a full-time, permanent position, located in St. Louis, MO or Houston, TX. Position will serve entire company across all office locations.

Responsibilities include:

Support the company's on-going development and implementation of the firm's marketing/business development strategic plan and budget Develop and maintain a personal, comprehensive knowledge of our firm's services, disciplines, clients, partners, projects, and staff background/capabilities to allow you to organize, manage and maintain our marketing library's collateral materials. Support business development efforts through prospecting, lead development and the pursuit of new business opportunities Coordinate and produce materials and submissions, such as qualifications packages, government/bid forms, presentations and responses to RFQ's and RFI's Perform market, client, partner, and competitor research/analysis Create and maintain client profile and management systems information Create/manage marketing content and deliverables that support the corporate brand across all platforms including digital and print presentations, social media posts, newsletter materials, press releases, resumes, firm profiles, qualifications packages, website content, digital media (graphics, photos, videos), internal/external communications and advertising copy Manage updates to and future development of the firm's website/SEO Management Oversee ad and marketing campaigns through meeting and communications coordination Manage development, execution and follow-up of internal meetings, conferences, lunch & learns, trade shows, special events, etc. (both in-person and virtual) Secure all branded, sales support/promotional materials and ensure the inventory is current and available upon request. Create and maintain a profile with professional and community organizations by attending industry events and creating a network to keep abreast of industry, client, and competitor activity. Limited travel may be required for attending conferences and visits to other office locations.

The ideal candidate will have:

Working knowledge of A/E/C industry terminology and delivery methods

Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Strong editing, writing, and communication skills

Excellent document, time, and prioritization management skills

Keen attention to detail and quality control/assurance (QA/QC)

Effective graphic and page layout sensibilities

Day-to-day working proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, OpenAsset, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to collaborate effectively with senior and technical staff members to meet proposal deadlines

Photography and videography skills

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Experience in the production of proposals, marketing materials and graphics for architecture, engineering, or construction industries required.

Some background in music, public speaking or acting
