hybrid in Boston, MA (2-3 days onsite per week) Duration:

Job Description: Who we are looking for: We are seeking a talented and creative User Experience Information Architect to join our Digital User Experience team. As a UX Information Architect you will play a crucial role in designing intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences for our products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to craft the information architecture of our platforms to ensure seamless navigation and taxonomy efficient content organization and optimal user interactions.
As the UX Information Architect you will: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers developers and content strategists to understand project goals and user requirements. - Create sitemaps wireframes and prototypes to illustrate the proposed information architecture and user journey. - Define content hierarchies and taxonomies to organize information effectively and enhance user findability. - Develop user personas user flows and interaction models to guide the design process - Work closely with content creators and strategists to ensure the alignment of content with user needs and business objectives. - Conduct regular audits of existing digital properties to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions. - Design and manage User Research projects conducted by third parties to gather insights and validate information architecture decisions. - Keep abreast of industry best practices emerging trends and new technologies related to information architecture and user experience design. Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in UX design processes. Collaborate with the development brand content and publishing team to ensure the successful implementation of the proposed information architecture.
Experience and Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction HCI Information Architecture Interaction Design or a related field. - Proven experience as a User Experience Information Architect or similar role showcasing successful projects and outcomes, User Experience professional with experience leading Information Architecture for digital marketing - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability principles. - Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD or Figma. - Solid knowledge of web and mobile design standards and patterns. Ability to analyze complex user requirements and translate them into intuitive and efficient information structures. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Attention to detail and a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences. - Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Agile web development concepts. - Experience working for Financial Institutions is a plus.
