We are seeking a dynamic and skilled
social media content designer
to join our client's social media team. This role involves producing engaging content for social platforms, including custom graphics, illustrations, memes, GIFs, and videos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, social media, and storytelling, with the ability to create innovative original content from concept to execution. You will design and deliver creative solutions that clearly communicate the brand identity and support real-time social media needs, driving consumer awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility to extend.
Responsibilities: Design and produce graphics and elements for Hilton’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest). Create quick-turn, reactive content for opportunistic cultural and online moments. Brainstorm, pitch, and conceptualize original content ideas tailored for Hilton’s social media platforms. S upport the social media team by adapting real-time trends and proactive story ideas into social-first assets. Work with the Loyalty, Enterprise, and Brand marketing teams, as well as the Hilton Creative Studio, to understand business and marketing objectives and deliver creative solutions. Revise or redevelop content based on feedback from internal stakeholders. Balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate across various stakeholders with differing priorities. Adhere to brand identity standards and guidelines while contributing to the evolution of the brand’s visual and written identity. Use campaign performance data to evaluate effectiveness and apply insights to future campaigns. Stay updated on social media trends and formats, and develop new templates and design approaches.
Qualifications: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of experience, concepts, and visual styles, particularly for social media. Understanding of current social media best practices across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat, with a willingness to explore emerging platforms. Minimum of 3 years in design, preferably within a design firm, advertising agency, or in-house creative department. Experience working with a marketing department or social media team, with the ability to align creative solutions with business objectives. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with social media management and listening tools such as Sprinklr and Brandwatch.
