Position Overview:

Eurasia Group is looking for an experienced and collaborative Director of Marketing to join our team, reporting to the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer.

The Director of Marketing will lead Eurasia Group’s multifaceted B2B and B2C marketing efforts across our various channels, networks, events, and platforms to support new areas of growth, client retention and promote Eurasia Group’s reputation as the world leader in political risk analysis and solutions.

As a “brand champion,” the Director of Marketing will be responsible for projecting and harmonizing the brands of Eurasia Group and GZERO Media, EG’s media company subsidiary, among several key audiences: clients, prospects, potential employees, and the public-at-large.

This leader will articulate, align, and enforce the company’s brand across all channels, and optimize for marketing goals. This includes Eurasia Group’s external website, client website, content for clients, pitch decks, social media, GZERO, and other collateral materials.

A successful leader will be highly collaborative and plugged into the diverse activities and initiatives of the firm. You can create integrated marketing campaigns to support growth goals. You are a creative and entrepreneurial thinker, always looking for new opportunities to leverage and promote our unique network, content, and talent. You use data-driven insights and analysis to inform your strategy and report results.

This position can be based in New York, Washington DC, Canada, or Brazil and will report to Eurasia Group’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Responsibilities:

Provide marketing leadership for B2B and B2C efforts across the firm

Design, create and launch integrated marketing campaigns to support and align with growth goals

Align our brand’s expression across all channels, including partnerships

Relaunch and oversee the corporate website, in coordination with IT, Communications, GZERO Media, and the events team

Launch paid social media campaigns

Create new demand across key client segments using the power of our brand and content to elevate reach and awareness of our diverse service offerings

Develop marketing assets and strategies to engage with clients and external stakeholders

Provide marketing leadership and support for engagements and events

Work in close collaboration with design, media, social and events teams and potentially manage a direct report

Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of relevant experience

MBA or master’s degree in marketing or related field

A passion for global politics and international affairs is preferred

An entrepreneurial mindset, excellent problem solver, and ability to reach new customers

A marketing generalist who has a deep understanding of different channels and how they play into the marketing mix — from events and PR to paid marketing and emails

High level of interpersonal, written, verbal, negotiation, and presentation skills

Strong emotional and cultural intelligence, and enthusiasm for working with diverse organizations and people

Experience working in B2B and B2C marketing

An understanding of online UX, online marketing principles and strategy

Experience building and shaping growing brands and corporate websites

Fluency in paid social and an understanding of social media metrics

Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task

Global content management and creation experience

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $140,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
