As a creative and motivated UX Researcher, come join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work closely with the senior designer and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative products that meet user needs and align with our brand vision. The ideal candidate has experience with end-to-end design, understands the full design lifecycle, and is skilled at journey mapping across multiple touchpoints. You will support project initiatives with strong documentation of all steps in the UX design lifecycle, collaborate with various teams, and present prototypes to communicate the design story effectively. This role requires being onsite three days a week in Durham, NC. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather user requirements and define problem statements. Create UX artifacts like storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design ideas. Conduct user research, interviews, and secondary research to inform UX solutions. Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes to map flows and interactions. Build detailed, clickable prototypes to simulate final products and functionality. Present design progress and artifacts to stakeholders and clients. Lead brainstorming sessions to address complex design challenges. Advocate for research findings through presentations and written reports. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong background in user research, usability testing, and data interpretation. Expertise in design thinking and problem-solving within design systems. Experience designing for web and mobile applications. Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and presentations. A portfolio showcasing recent design work and process. Adaptability to new design technologies and out-of-the-box thinking.
