Job Overview As a Project Designer at LSI, you will be an integral part of a collaborative design team. You will take on significant responsibility and be expected to produce and execute on projects. You will coordinate with project managers, firm leadership, and consultants to develop comprehensive, synchronized drawing sets. We expect you to work diligently while fostering an inclusive and collaborative studio culture. You will be involved in projects from conceptualization through construction administration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and expand your knowledge while developing your abilities as an architect. Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in architecture, including experience executing commercial projects of varying scales, uses, and construction types. Familiarity with multi-family projects is desirable. You should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and working on a wide range of project types, from vertical mixed-use to single-family residential. Strong collaborative skills, effective communication, eagerness to learn, and a desire to build meaningful relationships with peers and colleagues are essential.

Responsibilities As a Project Designer at LSI, you will be responsible for creating and managing schedules and expectations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Contributing to design efforts through collaboration, with strong architectural drawing and construction detailing skills Coordinating with consultants to resolve issues and produce complete, synchronized drawing sets Analyzing code and development parameters and effectively translating that information into achievable designs Producing project graphics for client communication and marketing purposes Maintaining and improving BIM and CAD templates and standards

Requirements 2+ years of professional experience in architecture Professional degree in architecture Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (additional experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or similar software is a plus) Preferred experience with multi-family and vertical mixed-use project types Ability to communicate high-level design concepts and execute design intent Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
