Reports to Marketing Senior Manager Status: Intern (Non-exempt) Duration: Temporary - Runs through the 2025 Charlotte FC season, to include potential playoffs (from February 2025 - October 2025).

Position Summary Charlotte Football Club is seeking a passionate and driven Marketing Intern to support the promotion and growth of the Charlotte FC brand. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager of Brand Strategy & Events and Marketing Coordinators to perform all duties and expectations.This role involves assisting with marketing campaigns, matchday and grassroots activations, tentpole events, and fan engagement initiatives to build connections with our community and fans across the Carolinas.
Primary Responsibilities Contribute to the daily operations of the Marketing department, including administrative tasks, data entry, and inventory management. Support the planning and project management of marketing programs and events. Assist in execution of experiential fan engagement event opportunities on both matchday and non-matchdays including but not limited to vendor management, setup and breakdown, part-time staff coordination, guest acquisition, ideation and research. Assist in planning and coordinating the distribution of gate giveaways to enhance the CLTFC fan experience on designated matchdays. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, members, and vendors through written correspondence, phone calls, and account maintenance. Collaborate with internal departments to execute marketing initiatives and events. Aid in building brand awareness across the Carolinas and beyond. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a valid US Driver's license. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Including document merging and managing multi-page spreadsheets. Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual or multi-lingual skills (a plus) Experience in soccer, sports or the entertainment industry. Skills for Success
Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative mindset, thriving in team-oriented and goal-driven environments. Ability to perform under pressure with a positive attitude. Dependable, with a can-do approach to challenges. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Must, always, display the character and values of the Tepper Sports & Entertainment brand. Effective time management and task prioritization skills. Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Professional office setting and outdoor environments (stadium or local events). Frequent local travel to events. Able and willing to work all Charlotte FC home matches and non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to:
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Sit at a desk and computer for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Climb stairs. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Drive a large passenger van.
