Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and delivering integrated digital strategies for ACC's flagship brand and supporting initiatives. The position works closely with stakeholders and clients to define project goals, requirements, target audiences, and channels, while independently developing content and strategies to meet those objectives. The position also provides both design and development guidance for social and digital media projects, ensuring that concepts are sound and aligned with ACC's digital requirements as well as collaborating with relevant vendors and the Associate Director, Digital Communications. The position reports directly to the Senior Director, Digital Communications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities Develops and oversees integrated strategies across ACC's digital platforms to ensure websites and social media channels feature compelling, engaging, and regularly updated content. Collaborates on short- and long-term strategic objectives for digital communications and online programs. Leads editorial strategy and content development for ACC's digital properties, working closely with colleagues to align the production calendar with target audience needs. Provides guidance on content creation and promotion across specific platforms to effectively engage target audiences, such as policymakers, thought leaders, voters, decision-makers, and industry sectors. Defines project goals and plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources, while setting clear expectations, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress. Advises on audience targeting strategies, including paid media partnerships and media buys, to support specific goals. Optimizes digital content using site performance analysis, SEO tactics, and media insights to enhance website quality and efficiency. Assesses, prepares and disseminates marketing and analytic reports to site owners and provides top-line reporting the Senior Director, Digital Communications. Defines project goals and plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources, while setting clear expectations, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress. Manages content management system (CMS) development, ensuring all goals and deadlines are met. Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports, especially through select platforms. Coordinates digital content distribution across ACC, members, and allied associations. Analyzes and improves business practices, implementing standardized systems for greater efficiency. Stays informed on emerging technologies and trends, recommending solutions to enhance effectiveness. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., communications, public relations, marketing, project management, etc.). Eight years related experience with political, policy/advocacy, business or trade organization. Demonstrated experience in website and web-based application management, design, and development. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to facilitate, prioritize and manage multiple issues, projects, information requests, and vendor deployment schedules. Experience in buying online media to reach specific audiences. Demonstrated ability to develop compelling written and graphic materials that promote industry positions and engage target audiences. Ability to develop and articulate vision for digital strategies and content marketing. Ability to use independent judgment in evaluating situations/issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign/Adobe design platforms, internet research applications, media monitoring software, and press/media/newswire services. Preferred

Knowledge of search engine marketing and optimization. Communications/news media/public relations agency experience. Deep understanding of principles of Social Networking and Web-based applications Trade association experience
