Responsible for the implementation of marketing strategy for dedicated markets. Manages events, sponsorship and strategic philanthropy programs. Run digital marketing activities including supporting lead generation and tracking performance. Works with the sales staff, marketing directors and relationship managers to promote marketing campaigns and programs.

Specialist Regional Marketing - Wealth Management
Responsible for the implementation of marketing strategy for dedicated markets. Manages events, sponsorship and strategic philanthropy programs. Run digital marketing activities including supporting lead generation and tracking performance. Works with the sales staff, marketing directors and relationship managers to promote marketing campaigns and programs.
Major Duties:
- Excellent project management skills and can efficiently support multiple markets.
- Manage budgeting process, including yearly forecasting, monthly reconciliation and provide status updates to local leadership.
- Conceptualize, develop and execute both in-person and virtual events for target personas.
- Leverage Salesforce and other database software to track engagement and ROI.
- Assist on local marketing communications including marketing updates, public relations efforts and local leadership messages in conjunction with our national marketing team.
- Develop relationships with external vendors, publications, and venues to utilize and promote Northern Trust services in a cost-effective manner.
- Interacts with various areas of the bank, including product and sales areas, to gather data for creation of marketing strategies and content.
- Works with the sales staff, WM marketing directors and relationship managers to promote marketing campaigns and programs. Monitors response rates and business results.
- 3 years of marketing or sales experience, including financial services experience.
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of financial industry consumer products and services and marketing concepts, acquired through related work experience and formal education, is required.
- Solid project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills needed to manage a variety of ongoing projects.
- Creativity and good writing skills for both client and partner communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills are needed to interface with partners throughout the organization.
- Computer skills including Microsoft 365 with a focus on PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & Excel as well as Adobe to create materials.
- Experience with Marketo & On24 (or comparable virtual event platform) a plus
