The Senior Marketing Manager - Innovation/Renovation Portfolio Management is responsible for driving overall portfolio governance by overseeing the movement of both long and short-term initiatives that align with organizational growth objectives through our stage gate and commercial planning processes. The position requires the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional partners, ensuring strong collaboration and communication while leading the most critical aspects of Portfolio Governance and Process Management.
Ideally, this person will also have past Innovation experience or an understanding of (not only process but also) the key tenets of innovation. Looking at initiatives with a critical eye and helping the team ensure that as we prioritize and evaluate initiatives for launch, we are pressure testing them in the right ways - are they big enough, are they solving consumer problems, are they strategic for the business.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $69.45 to $77.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

Deputy I&R Portfolio Management
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation partners around common understanding & priorities
- Aggregate & organize relevant data to inform portfolio/pipeline priorities & decision making
- Be single point of contact on Project and Portfolio management toolkit
- Establish and lead monthly and quarterly portfolio management routines
- Facilitate project advancement routines; barrier identification & removal
- Support scheduling and facilitation of portfolio management routines - Weekly Project Review
- Facilitate project escalations communication flows
- Establish project knowledge management & document controls
- Maintain Portfolio Management system - Project setup, prioritization, resource management, project status data integrity, etc.
- Streamline and maintain portfolio performance metrics (ex: Project success rate, total portfolio financial contribution, project gating performance management, etc.)
- Maintain reports and dashboards for process monitoring and KPI tracking.
- Drive Continuous Improvement - Define and facilitate post-project evaluation process and capture lessons learned
- Lead development key milestones/connection points leading to annual National Sales Meeting
- Adapt materials to streamline the development process & improve strategic clarity
- Facilitate critical collaborative sessions & share-outs to develop strategy, plan & required materials
