This Marketing Manager, Regional Business Partner will lead the Marketing and Communications strategies of a specific, assigned regional geography of Jefferson Health's service area. The primary focus of this key position is to increase brand awareness, leverage (and create!) points of localized consumer engagement, and drive growth (e.g., patient visits, surgical volume, and other key metrics). Position requires both an ability to work independently, supporting the unique strategic needs of hospital leadership within the assigned territory, as well working collaboratively with colleagues throughout the department, including most frequently team members in Service Line Marketing, Media Relations, Internal Communications, and Social Media, to ensure business strategies are well managed and expectations for the assigned region are met or exceeded.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, Regional Strategy, this position requires effective management skills, experience working with senior leaders, a solid understanding of healthcare market trends, and a proven record for establishing and achieving marketing and communications goals.Must be willing to spend some days onsite in a hospital environment.
*Collaborates with regional senior management and other Marketing and Communications staff to align internal and external priorities and strategic goals with internal communications and outreach initiatives.
*Ensures senior leaders' marketing and communications goals are met and provides necessary thought leadership to ensure their growth goals are met in accordance with their strategic plan.
*Identifies and brings forward opportunities for growth, improved visibility and brand recognition, and customer service improvement in accordance with hospital leadership.
*Leads a regional team that includes members of communications, public relations and social media that develop internal, as well as external, communications strategy, positioning, planning, engagement and content development.
*Proactively and strategically identifies, evaluates and pursues executive engagement opportunities-internal and external-that drive organizational strategy and increase system brand awareness.
*Serves as Regional Public Information Officer in event of media crises, collaborating with the Senior Marketing Director, Regional Strategy, corporate PR and communicating approved messages to media.
*Supports the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
*Develops and implements effective internal communications strategies in support of strategic priorities for physicians, employees, and others internal stakeholders to enhance the dissemination of timely information. Uses a variety of channels, including ONE Intranet, website, e-newsletter, hard copy collaterals and more.
*Monitors local press for relevant marketing, healthcare and competitor news and information, and proposes effective responses.
*Leads, manages and participates in the planning and implementation of all internal communication efforts, customer service relations, and events, including but not limited to health fairs, regional observances and recognitions, seminars, outreach events, chamber activities, open houses and other regional hospital events.
*Creates programs and speaking opportunities that promote the organization's image in a positive and community-oriented way.
*Serves on community boards and committees as assigned in support of the regions' mission and vision and makes recommendations for regional leadership's participation as well.
*Creates and maintains regular reporting, as needed, to effectively communicate the work and impact of marketing areas of responsibility for internal constituents such as Boards, Committees and Leadership.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing/Communications or another related field. required. Master's degree in business administration, marketing, health administration or related field strongly preferred.
Experience:
7+ years related work experience required in progressively responsible experience in strategic marketing and communications required.
